Didn't see a prayer thread and thought one needed to be started, especially now...
Today they reported that things have escalated in Iran, the secret police have started firing at the protestors and there was a suicide bombing at the tomb of Ayatollah Khomeini. A video was also released by the protestors over the internet of a young girl (name was Neda) who was standing with her father about 1km from the protests when a secret policeman shot her in the chest. A person at the scene recorded the event, the young girl died moments after she was shot, this video has even the most hardened to death left disturbed and crushed.
Rumors say that Mousavi has told the protestors he is ready for martyrdom, and the gov't started moving tanks into Tehran by the end of the day.
News sources are also reporting the secret police have been going to college/university dorms at night-time and killing students...
Official counts stand at about 20 deaths so far, however unnofficially counts have reached well over 100 deaths after today.
This isn't a political thread and isn't intended to throw our support to the Iranian citizens, this is simply to pray for those in Iran and for their safety.
