Hi, When I registred on this site, I specifically requested that my email address remain private. It is not private. And when I changed it with three attempts to make it private, it is still showing. Is there a technical difficultly on this website?

When you check it, it will show, as it is yours, but for others it is hidden.

I don't think anyone could. It wasn't just you. I tried first thing this morning (via blackberry), no luck. I thought it was the phone. I tried when I got in to work...same result. I've noticed it happens on occassion. Thank God the site is back! Have to get my fix for the day!

Quick hint: If you look at your email address and it is italicized, then it is private. Same with your name: if you've elected to not have your online status visible to others, your name will appear in italics in the "Users Online" box on the main page.

Could you make the spell-checker window lighter a bit?

Does anyone else find the Lenten screen colors tough on the eyes?

A few people said that last year, but most people didn't have that problem. I did not adjust the contrast or brightness of any of the colors; all I did was change the red level to make them purple instead of blue. If you want, take a screen shot of the page on your monitor and attach it to a post here; but probably that won't show the problem. Or take a pic with a camera or cell phone You can switch off this template I believe from your profile on the left "Look and Feel." But the standard template has not been updated yet so it's the junky old graphic. Fr A.

The colors took a few minutes to get used to, but I don't have any trouble seeing what I need to see. Well, the only thing is, if you look at my name on the main page (e.g. at the bottom where it lists who is online) my name almost perfectly blends in with the background. I made a thread before calling out users who were hidden... and now look at me! I did have to reload my avatar to see it, but that was the only other issue I had. Besides the withdrawal pains from not having OC.net for a day I mean.
