member status, or lack therof...
« on: November 06, 2003, 04:55:37 PM »
Hi, administrative types!

I endured the pejorative "newbie" label for a short while, and around post #25, just when I was getting frustrated with this descriptor, I realized my status had changed to "junior member!"  Hoorah!

Well, I just noticed that I have now contributed 49 posts (not including this one), and I was kinda figuring (or hoping) that 50 must be the magic number which will make my status officially "member."  So, here goes with post #50...wish me well!

David ;)

Slow but steady wins the race... :)

Mor no longer posts on OCNet.  He follows threads, posts his responses daily, occasionally starts threads, and responds to private messages when and as he wants.  But he really isn't around anymore.

I just turned a member for passing 100 posts.

What do the crosses under the member status mean?  Is it also a reflection of the number of posts?  I have 3 now under the US Flag.

Each level you go up on poster, you get an additional cross.

moderators get green stars
global mods get blue
admins get red

The flag indicates where you are from.

Or alternately, they indicate where your girlfriend is from.  :)

I notice, BTW, that Anastasios has surged into the posting lead.
