Hello all! I am currently doing matins/vespers as readers services and need the material that isn't found in the service itself. I am not completely sure of the names of these books, but I am poor, and would love them for free if possible. I need all the books to do a proper Vespers, and Matins. I also should add that I would like them to be Eastern Orthodox. God Bless, and Thanks.

There is no such thing as a reader's liturgy. Since your profile says you are Antiochian I would suggest visiting this site... http://www.dowama.org/node/26 which has readers services using the standard styles and text of the Antiochian Archdiocese. |

There is no such thing as a reader's liturgy. Yes there is. It is called Typika. I know that it is not specifically Liturgy. Perhaps, my leaving out the specific name, is what has caused the confusion. Thank you for the link. You can find Typika here: http://www.saintjonah.org/services/typica.htm |

I have looked through the link that you provided, and now I know that I need a Liturgikon, the Menaion, the Octoechos, and the Triodion. Is there any way to find all of these online, for free? I would love it that were possible. Thanks, and God Bless.

As for online sources to the additional text you are looking for there are none available fully online that I would recommend. |

PFN, there are complete liturgical libraries available online in both Greek and Slavonic, but nothing as complete as this in English, unfortunately. What do you mean by "more in-depth"? Maybe I could help.

However, Schultz has provided me with some great resources including the books I listed above. But, if anyone has more, I would gladly take them. Thanks for all the replies, and help. |
