Dismas,

Would you mind adding the following links in the parish names of the combined choir music I posted here.  Here they are:

St. John of the Ladder Orthodox Church (OCA) http://www.stjohnoftheladder.org

Holy Apostles Orthodox Church (OCA)
http://www.holyapostles.org

Holy Ascension Orthodox Church (OCA)
http://www.ocacharleston.org/

Thanks!

This is the one I tried unsuccessfully to provide the link for above.  I guess I shouldn't have put the space in the URL.  The Serbian chant is quite beautiful.

Here is a link that has a huge amount of Coptic Orthodox chants, hymns, liturgies and spiritual songs for free.

http://www.saintmina-holmdel.org/Multimedia/index.php

How come the Oriental Orthodox aren't posting the sites?

You're right, Dimitrius.

www.tasbeha.org allows you to download Coptic mp3's for free.

http://sor.cua.edu/BethGazo/Mardin/PYacqub3/abcindex.html will allow you to listen to recordings of Syriac chant by H.H. Moran Mar Ignatios Yaqub III, but you can't download them, I don't think, since they are RealAudio files.

Nice work Dismas...I look forward to seeing it updated again in the future...perhaps add some of the stuff from The Sabians?  They have a few songs on mp3.com.

Dear Dismas,

I didn't look too carefully, but the link for the Syriac chant:

http://sor.cua.edu/BethGazo/Mardin/PYacqub3/abcindex.html

does not work.  I suspect that you highlighted the link as it appeared in my previous post, and added that, but that link was shortened for space considerations.  If you click on the link, you will be sent to that page by your browser, and then you can cut and paste the URL from there, and it should work properly.  I hope this is helpful.

Thanks, Dismas.  I look forward to exploring the page more in depth when I'm done with this horrible paper.  Looks great so far!

I have been updating the links including one to a trailer of Mel Gibson's "The Passion"

If your parish has a tape or CD that they would like referenced or put up on the net, contact me.

Dismas,

You're doing really wonderful work.  One request, though:  The link for St. John of the Ladder Orthodox Church(my home parish) is incorrect.  You have it listed as a subpage of orthotracts...I'd appreciate it if you would fix this at an opportune moment.  Thanks!
