I notice that I paste images that appear larger than what I pasted. How do you resize them so they are smaller (the usual problem) on the post?

I upload them on imageschack and paste a thumbnail of the picture which is a link to the full-resolution version.

I simply resize them with either PhotoShop, Microsoft Office Picture Manager, or other graphics program.
