Hey, what do the stars on our profile sidebars mean, and why do I only have one of them? Do I have to do something special?

You should have 4 as a Sr. Member but you are still a katechumen so it's only one There must have been a board mistake. I'm sure mods will be able to fix it.

Here's a thread from a couple of years ago explaining it. We've added a few more titles since then, but I can't find the thread where we announced it, and I'm about to start work. http://www.orthodoxchristianity.net/forum/index.php/topic,13447.0.html

Shouldn't I have more stars? I could be wrong, but from the link below I should have three, although, I guess it really doesn't matter.

Yes, you should have three. We'll get right on that.

I have to upgrade the site. It is in a failed upgrade-backout stage which is why things are messed up in some places. I cannot upgrade though for the time being as our warning manager program is not compatible with the upgraded release yet. So hold tight

Thanks, Father. God Bless! Anyone experiencing fewer stars than usual (which is usually "I have only one star but I should have X number!") should just post in this thread; there is a work around which the Admins can apply.

They don't have any special meaning. You get one if you advanced in forum ranking for a gift. Mods, admins and site supporters have special ones:
Section Moderator (regardless of posts) - 5 blue stars Global Moderator (regardless of posts) - 5 green stars Administrator (regardless of posts) - 5 red stars

Where is the link to the site which explain the meanings of the stars please? The stars are indicators of what Posting-level group you're in.
