Not directly, but his Facebook is still up. Says he's an agnostic now. :(

I haven't heard from him. He unfriended me on FB a while back. I've sent him a few messages but no response. I know he's struggling with a few difficult issues - personally and theologically. But struggle is good, so perhaps he's in a good place spiritually. I don't know. I always admired his keen intellect and his many thoughtful contributions to this forum. I wish him all the best.

that sad I went back and read everything he seemed spiritually lost towards the end. Does that happen to people on here a lot?

I don't think it's often. It's too bad, though.

Lord have mercy.

The avatar he uses, I could be mistaken, looks to me like a contemporary icon of Zoroaster rather than of Chrost but I could be mistaken.  I have seen Zoroaster depicted in a few paintings with a distinctive yellow or saffron girdle and a vaguely Christlike appearance.
Antisemitism, racism and prejudicial nationalism should have no place in Orthodoxy.  For to paraphrase  St. Paul, there is neither Jew nor Greek, neither male nor female, slave or freeman, in the Christian Church.
