I'm sure this topic has been hashed before, but I'd like to point out something I read on OrthodoxWiki. Here's the quote and the link:

http://orthodoxwiki.org/Ordination_of_womenNow this seems to be a ridiculous argument to me. So, you're called to the priesthood, but if the church won't ordain you, you leave? It might just be me, but I don't think the Lord would move you to leave His True church. Personally, I don't think we should allow females to serve. It's not our Holy Tradition, and it's not needed. The biggest need for deaconesses was because it was improper for priests to touch women. That's not really an issue anymore. Nobody gasps in shock when a priest baptizes a little naked female baby. So let's discuss...
