For Greekchef's new job
« on: May 19, 2009, 10:16:43 PM »
So there is a reason that I've been gone from OC.net for a while ('cause I know you all wondered, right?  ;) ) Things have been very hectic lately, because I have just started my new job... as Youth Director of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Atlanta.

I would humbly like to ask all of you, my friends here on OC.net, to please pray fervently for me as I am beginning my new job... there is so much work to be done!  Please pray that God grant me strength, wisdom, discernment, and humility that my hands, my mind, and my heart may do the work of Christ in service to Him and His Church!

Pray for me a sinner,
Presbytera Mari

Weren't you in MA?  So this means a move on top of everything else.  Lord have mercy!   MA's loss, GA's gain. :)

You've got big shoes to fill; but I know (from firsthand experience) that you're more than capable of this ministry.  May the Lord bless you always!
"O Cross of Christ, all-holy, thrice-blessed, and life-giving, instrument of the mystical rites of Zion, the holy Altar for the service of our Great Archpriest, the blessing - the weapon - the strength of priests, our pride, our consolation, the light in our hearts, our mind, and our steps"
Met. Meletios of Nikopolis & Preveza, from his ordination.
