Irmologion of Supraśl is an unique manuscript from the end of 16th century. It represents a living proof of the rich melodic traditions of by then Orthodox world. The exceptionality of the Irmologion lies in the way these melodies were written down. It’s the oldest known relic of the Orthodox music literature written in the western linear system.
