How can there be any earthly consecrated orthodox bishops during the age of this Great Apostasy?

Credit card debt = slavery
I agree also, but it is a bit more. The entire World Monetary System = slavery There are only two ways to be, a slave of the devil or a slave of God. This has to do with everything in this world. Forgive, John

This would have been a "brown screen moment" if I'd been drinking my coffee while reading it. How do you make change for a cow?

What if all I had were chickens and sheep? What's the exchange rate? Then there's the question of getting them through the postal system...remember to put air holes in the box

I think if you see past the hyperbole, we can all agree on what John said- if I understood him to be warning against the love of money. I know of a few people in a certain sacred book who said pretty much the same thing.

The World monetary system has been nominated to be phased in by 2030 according to their website ... hence the push for Euro and Amero as these are the pre-decessors for this plus a global recession that pushes us into one global currency ... and from that ..of course, RFID chipping ..

Then there's the question of getting them through the postal system...remember to put air holes in the box 1 chicken = .346573 Sheep 1 sheep = .837462 cow so therefore, 1 cow is approximately 1.1941 sheep or 3.4391 Chickens Don't leave the window without counting your chickens, no refunds once you leave the window. -Nick Moneychanger and setter of animal exchange rates

Jesus would pay with coins found in a fish's mouth. Duh.

Like, if he knew anything about Christians he'd know how much we like to ridicule and mock others. Jesus asked that we become long suffering. Pffft, obviously He doesn't have a clue about what He's asking of us. Doesn't He know that people MUST be put in their place? Especially here on a site set aside specifically for Orthodox Christians. BTW John, have you received your crown of thorns yet? And I'd like to remind all us Christians here to please have your sticks and stones ready as we march John up to the hill. The HR dept is getting a little tired of having to send out these memos.

Regardless of what you say, he does get made fun of, quite a lot. Mostly because of his off-the-wall posts that always lack any support.

Well, I do recall several threads where various posters tried to engage HF with well-reasoned discussion and those didn't amount to much. I'm afraid it's just that no one takes him very seriously any more.

Yeah, patience is overrated. There's a big difference between patience and beating your head against a brick wall.

There's also the third way: ignore and move on. Guess we both failed there, huh?

Well, as one of those who has tried to get source materials and documentation and engage Hopeful Faithful in serious discussions on numerous occasions in the past and because I have found errors in his "facts" and that he has edited other people's words to make them fit his own ideas when the original quotes do not do so at all, I wasn't engaging him at all. I apologize if it looked that way. If he ever does respond to questions and back up his opinions that he asserts as though they are unassailable fact, that would be nice.
Here I was interacting with Ytterb. and playing with the joke idea of the exchange rate on the values of various animals. I find Admiralnick's post amusing, too. Sometimes people can be playful on a subject with out referencing others, perhaps.
With respect,
Ebor
