I can understand the "big letters"on this kpct ikon,but annot read the "red letters"(small ,on background),could anybody help me?

The language is Church Slavonic but the picture is not clear enough to read the background text.

What is the origin of the icon?  Made for a special occasion to celebrate some event for example?

Looks modern.

An interesting comment.  Please explain why you think it is Old Believer?  Is it because of the lack of spaces between the words in Church Slavonic?  I thought the orthography of the Church Slavonic alphabet looked a bit too modern to be Old Believer?  Maybe a "fake" antique?

- as you mentioned, lack of spaces
- red letters on black background - I think it's common for them
- such a way of depicting a Cross - putting it in frames

I don't have any proofs that it is real from Old-believer tradition, and not f.e. made by Great Schema Monk instead. These features colligates to me with an Old -believer culture. That's all. Maybe Hopeful Faithful should look into it?
