Chanting Assistance
« on: April 19, 2009, 11:13:58 AM »
Yesterday evening I assisted in chanting from the book of Acts.  The only time I've chanted before was last year during the all-night vigil when I did Psalms.  At times, the words came out decent and my intonation was more or less where I wanted it, but at other times sentences were very short, lists of place names fumbled me, etc.  Is there any online resource that will help me chant better?

If possible, I'd be interested in Carpatho-Rusyn chant tips, since this chant style comes most naturally to me.

Thanks.  :)

At the top of this section are two links for resources for chanting in Slavonic style and Byzantine style.

Slavonic - http://www.orthodoxchristianity.net/forum/index.php/topic,13713.0.html

Byzantine - http://www.orthodoxchristianity.net/forum/index.php/topic,12314.0.html

Let us know if you need something more than this!
