I can't remember what has happened in the past, but will OC.net be shut down for all of Holy Week to come back for Pascha or only for Great and Holy Friday?

But please remember about those members who will be celebrating Pascha a few hour earlier that you do in USA and turn on the forum so that they wouldn't wait to say Christ is risen! |

Considering how some the threads have gone over the last couple of days maybe closing for this week wouldn't be a bad idea. It would sad for Orthodox Christians to go into thier holiest festival of the year with all this bickering. Maybe remove the temptation?

While I'd usually agree with you, truth is that if people can't fight the demons while OC.net is up, they'll probably have just as hard a time fighting them with the site down. Now, if people proactively remove themselves from the site as a part of their voluntary fasting regimen (as quite a few have done on here during the years), then that's a different story. |

Demons have been attacking Christians for centuries before someone even thought up the idea of having computers communicate with each other via an Internet. |

The board will likely be shut down for the Passion of our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ around 5pm Eastern (US) Daylight Time. It will be re-opened Saturday evening (allowing for our early-birds - i.e. people who live east of the US time zones - and those who celebrated Pascha already to begin their greetings and celebration).
A Blessed Pascha to all!
