I first heard of this last week. A friend of mine from Aleppo said her relatives who are still there called her to tell her of a miracle that was happening in the Armenian Church over there. It's the Church of the Forty Martyrs. She said the icons and khatchkars (crosses carved out of stone) were weeping oil.
Last Sunday everyone was talking about it at church and some people had pictures. Aleppo is under the jurisdiction of the Catholicos of Cilicia, so His Holiness Aram has gone to investigate. They say he has given it his blessing.

I remember the Church: I have a history of Armenia in Arabic from there. Syria doesn't like anything but Arabic (fine by me
) but the Armenians have Armenian all over the place in Aleppo (fine by me too). Relations IIRC are good, even with the Arab Muslims.
Btw, Salpy, can you take a look at the thread on the Immaculate Conception? Your Church's "belief" in the IC is being promoted there.http://www.orthodoxchristianity.net/forum/index.php/topic,20612.msg309406/topicseen.html#msg309406
