St. Alexandra the New Martyr

Hello all! Two and a half years ago, I posted this thread to the forum:

http://www.orthodoxchristianity.net/forum/index.php/topic,9633.0.html

I am now proud to say that my parents have allowed me to convert to Orthodoxy (at age 17) and that I'm being baptised and chrismated this Saturday. I'm incredibly excited to finally be entering the Church that I've been waiting three years to be an official member of. My friend who took me to church, of whom I spoke in the previous thread (read the first post, it's short Wink), is my sponsor.

I'd like to thank everyone on this forum who advised me previously and gave me their opinions which helped me stay faithful to Christ.

God Bless!

P.S., I haven't gotten cold feet yet, pray I can keep it that way!  laugh

Question a friend, perhaps he did not do it; but if he did anything so that he may do it no more.

and urgent strife sheds blood.
