F's mother has for some time now been involved with Jehovah's Witnesses although she has not formally 'converted.'
F is currently baptised Methodist, but is not very familiar with doctrinal truth, having a less than basic Christian education. Nevertheless, she has a very genuine faith and simple heart (which to me is remarkable given her undoubtedly rough history), and I do feel and see God guiding her in His own way because despite her doctrinal ineptness, F has nevertheless been firmly resistant to her mother's JW beliefs and has developed an unexplained interest in the Orthodox Church--for the sake of emphasis, neither of these movements seem to be based on any clear doctrinal attitudes. Some may say the latter is easily explained by my intimate involvement in her life, but I have been reasonably lead to believe that she started developing this interest before I ever came on the scene.
In recent days, however, I have noticed F's mother increasing in her attempt to indoctrinate her daughter with JW nonsense. I think this has something to do with her recent knowledge of my being Orthodox. As far as I am aware, I am F's only Orthodox connection, and given that our relationship is not very certain I am rather anxious for her soul in the event that, for one reason or another, we can no longer retain the type of contact through which I can have a positive influence on her.
Please pray that, with or without me, F remain firm in her resistance to the JW heresy and that she find her way to an Orthodox Church. Pray that God have mercy on her mother and enlighten her to the truth. Pray for the salvation of both F and her mother's soul.
Please pray also that God guide me to deal with this delicate situation according to His will.
