Private Message Notification--Please read

Friends,

When you receive notification of a private message from our board, you CANNOT respond via email or else I get the email, and yes I read them so I know where they are coming from!

So if you 1) want the recipient to get the email and 2) don't want me reading your private business, then please upon receipt of the notification log on to our board and respond via the private message software!

I just want to second this for further clarification.

Some users have "Instant Message notification" set to enable. This means that when you receive a new Instant Message, you will receive notice to your email box. However, to reply back to the sender, you cannot reply back to this email you receive as it comes from admin@orthodoxchristianity.net, and NOT the original sender.  Several people over the course of a few weeks HAVE replied to the email, thus sending Anastasios and myself the Instant Messages.

So please, if you have replied to an instant message notification email in the past few days, you might want to go back and resend it via the Instant Message system via the Forum, as the original sender probably did not get your message.

FYI, it is not possible to make your email replies go to the sender, as some people wish to keep their email address hidden, and in replying to them would reveal it.
