Please pray to God for me, a sinner! I am plagued by habitual sins this Lenten season that fill me with guilt and shame, rather than experiencing God's mercy and grace.
Pray that God will forgive me of my endless sins that I refuse to repent of, and also that He will guide me safely into His One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I fear His judgment and the eternal torments; remember me in your petitions!

Excellence of character, then, is a state concerned with choice, lying in a mean relative to us, this being determined by reason and in the way in which the man of practical wisdom would determine it. Now it is a mean between two vices, that which depends on excess and that which depends on defect.

Dear brother, we all have our imperfections and shortcomings. We all have sins that we particularly struggle with. We all have sins that we must confess over and over again. But God knows, in his wisdom and mercy, if we are really trying and really struggling to love him, serve him, and repent from our sins. Know how much God loves you and find peace and freedom even in the midst of your battle.
