I really like the new header--it looks beautiful! I notice one problem with it, though: It covers up the links to "show unread replies" and "show unread topics," which I use often. Is there a way to move those links?

How does it cover those links? I haven't had any issue with that (on Firefox).
{Edit} I tested with IE, and didn't have that problem, either. Is the problem that your header is collapsed? (If it is collapsed, you'll see a "+" on the right side, beyond under the "forum" of "simple machines forum")

I'm using Firefox 3. No, it's been covering the OrthodoxChristianity.net and Hello ytterbiumanalyst parts also.
That is, until just now. I don't know if Fr. Anastasios changed something, but I now see two headers.

I LOVE the header, however, it's doing the same thing on my screen.
I am using IE6.
Here's a screenshot of what it looks like.

This is so bizarre--I tested in Firefox 3 and IE 6 in both 1024x768 and a widescreen setting. Hmmmm.
What resolution are you using in that screen shot?

Resolution on that screen was 1920x1200.
However, it's looking just fine now. It's not doing it anymore.

The fact that it happens sometimes and doesn't happen other times makes me more worried. There is something unstable in the code somewhere. Ugh.

^ I encounter the same behavior with Opera 9.64 and I run 1600 x 1200 resolution. Same results with Safari (Windows) public 4 beta. Forgive us Father A. for using browsers other than IE and Firefox at resolutions other than 1024 x 768.

Forgive us Father A. for using browsers other than IE and Firefox at resolutions other than 1024 x 768. As I said, I did test it in a larger resolution than 1024 x 768. I am getting reports that other users are not having this problem in Safari. I think there is an if/else statement in the code that is making this happen sometimes but not at other times. I will download a copy of opera to test for next time. I used to like that browser a lot.

Yep, just used Opera 9.6.4 in both 1024x768 and 1440 x 900 settings. No issues. There must be an if statement somewhere.

I'm using Google Chrome at the moment and the header (it is very nice) covers roughly the top quarter of the screen from the left edge to the right until I can read "le machines forum" Right underneath is the "home/help/rules/etc' bar

Update- I refreshed the main page and now the header does not cover anything. I'm still in Chrome. Interesting.
