Maybe it's just me, but if I had to wear something like this, I would drop out of the choir.

Romeiko Ensemble does some great reconstructions of older styles of chants.  Love the outfits--fits well in with what they are doing (presenting older forms).

Don't worry, I don't know of anyone who dresses like that in any modern choir! haha

Other than the subdeacon, we have no especial costuming. We just sing. It seems to work.

What, you don't like the hats?  They're great - wear them inside a church, and it's "throwback day;" wear them outside the church, and you get to play Conquistador!
