Our dear friends and their son
« on: March 03, 2009, 05:07:28 PM »
This is all so sudden...I got a call during my last class of the day that said that some dear friends of ours just lost one of their young children to drowning.

At this time, word hasn't gotten out to their wider circle of family/friends/church, so putting their names here doesn't seem appropriate yet.  It hurts just to type this much.

Lord, have mercy on your servants and their departed little one.

Memory eternal to the child of God, James.

Lord have mercy and ease the grief of his family.

Conquer evil men by your gentle kindness, and make zealous men wonder at your goodness. Put the lover of legality to shame by your compassion. With the afflicted be afflicted in mind. Love all men, but keep distant from all men.
