St. George in Pittsburgh (AOA) is hosting a one-day Byzantine Music workshop on Saturday, March 21.
From their own description:
"This will be a Byzantine Chant Workshop focusing on teaching the basics of Byzantine Chant, as well as how to read the Byzantine Notation. We will begin with a Divine Liturgy at 9am (all in Byzantine Chant) followed by light snacks and the beginning workshops at 10:30am. All the talks will be done in English, and there will also be talks on the History of Byzantine Chant and Liturgical topics of importance. A Lenten lunch will be provided.
To cover the cost of the snacks and lunch, the workshops will cost $10 total."
