Hello-

I am the moderator of a  discussion forum where Christians of all denominations - Catholic, Pentecostal, Baptist, Orthodox, etc.,- can ask each other about their particular beliefs, practices, and history.

We discuss common practices such as baptism, communion, etc., and explore the similarities and differences in our worship of our shared Savior.

We currently have no Orthodox members, which is why I am writing here.  This creates a void that eliminates the possibility of learning from Orthodox Christians.

I hope you take the time to visit the site, and that you find it a useful place in developing your relationship with God, and with your "cousins in Christ".

Hope to see you there!

Perhaps you can put up a link on your site linking back to ours, so we can mutually discuss Orthodoxy in both places.

Hello Bobby-

I read your terms.  Since ChristiansOnline is not a business, I did not consider it advertising.

If you do, and that is your right, please delete my post immediately.

Thanks.

No it is fine. Just a reminder to people, as we have had our share of people in the past who enjoy soliciting websites quite aggressively.

Cool.

Thanks for the explanation!

Nice site, by the way.  Is this YaBB SE or your own coding?

LOL it was stock YabbSE back 2 years ago.

I have rewritten significant portions of the site, as discussed in another thread, as well as added new features.

It is safe to say about 60% original now.

I envy your coding skills.  I'm just a trial-and-many-errors kind of guy.  I'm still on the original YaBB version, and on rare days when I'm feeling lucky, I change the background or something equally daring.  Roll Eyes

Great job here!

Sorry for all the off-topic shop talk.  Just not everyday I run into another administrator.  Got carried away.

Have a good night!

Thank you.

Just mess with the PHP and you'll learn in no time.

YaBB is real decent, I talked with the guy who developed it and from what I hear they are working on rebuilding it from the ground up. It should be a "site" to behold. PhpBB, another board is pretty decent too, but in my opinion not as modular or easy to expand.

I'm going to call it a night.

I e-mailed you a flyer I use in grocery stores and churches.  I'm not wanting you to post it, I just thought you might like the format and use it here like you do your business cards.  It has worked for me.

Have a good night, and nice meeting you.
