ever have one of those weeks?
« on: October 08, 2003, 08:00:48 PM »
Most Merciful God
Beloved Lord Jesus Christ
like the prodigal I have turned away from my Father
I have sought satisfaction in worldly things
Lord and Master who knows the innermost reaches of my heart
rekindle the struggling flame
through your grace lead me back to the narrow path
make fine foods as ash in my mouth
turn my clothes to rags
convert my gold to lead
change my many diversions into boring pursuits
close any avenue that does not lead directly to You
turn my heart back to You, gracious One.
by the intercessions of your most holy and pure mother
have mercy on me, chief among sinners

That's what my week has felt like...and its only Wednesday!

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, Have mercy on me a sinner!

Have you been spying on me? :)

Lessons in humility seem to come at the times when everything seems to be going well.  You definitely are not alone. Let's all pray together for one another on this one.  Right now I to could use each of your prayers and you will have mine.

A not so humble sinner
