Dear Forum Participants and Moderators,
Please forgive me for allowing the forum to grow to such a high level of rancor the past three weeks.

I was never offfended by you in any way, Father Anastasios.
On the other hand, I know that I offended you a number of times - especially in the "Shoe thread," and elsewhere. Please forgive me, a sinner. I am sorry.

I know that I have contributed more than my fair share to inflammatory remarks and personal attacks on people on this board. I ask for forgiveness as well from you and from our Lord during this time of repentance.
Forgive me a sinner.
If we had a prostration icon, I'd post it here.

Certainly there have been times on this board where I did not behave in either a charitable or prudent manner. Lord forgive me, a sinner and I also ask that all of my dear brothers and sisters in Christ here on OC.net forgive me.

Please forgive me, a sinner.
Prayer Of St. Ephraim The Syrian O Lord and Master of my life take from me the spirit of sloth faint-heartness, lust of power and idle talk. (Prostration)
But give rather the spirit of Chastity, Humility, Patience, And Love to Thy servant. (Prostration)
Yea, O Lord and King grant me to see my own errors and not judge my brother;
for Thou art Blessed unto the ages of ages. Amen. (Prostration)

I've noticed that on various Orthodox forums similar disagreements appear when a lent lasts or it's coming soon. We are becoming temptated more harder by the Devil. We shouldn't allow him to take us over.
The Sunday of Forgiveness is coming so please forgive me the bad things I've done to you.

I confess to God Almighty, to Blessed Mary Ever-Virgin, to Blessed Michael the Archangel, to Blessed John the Baptist, to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, to my Patron Saint Lazarus, and to you my brethren that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word and deed, by my fault, by my own fault, by mine own most grevious fault. Wherefore I beg Blessed Mary Ever-Virgin, Blessed Michael the Archangel, Blessed John the Baptist, the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, my patron Saint Lazarus, all the saints, and you my brethren, to pray for me to the Lord Our God.

 Have mercy on us o Lord, have mercy on us, for we are empty of all defence. As sinners, we offer this supplication to You: O Master have mercy on us!
Lord, have mercy on us, for in You we have put our trust. Be not exceedingly angry with us, nor remember our many iniquities, but look upon us now as the Compassionate One and deliver us from our enemies. For you are our God, and we are your people. We are all the work of Your Hands, and upon Your Name we have now called.
