On October 2, the newest Thomas arrived in our family weighing in at 8 lbs 9 oz and measuring 21 1/2 inches in length. The little guy is as cute as he can be! I appreciate all your prayers.

Now where were we? Oh yeah - the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

If a layman can give a humble blessing! May he walk with the LORD with strength and righteousness all the days of his life within the true Church.
As a biologist I say, remember your role as a parent is to fledge.

"Lo, sons are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the sons of one's youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them!"
Congratulations! And what a great name...which (Saint) Thomas is he named after?

Thanks. As far as which saint he's named after I would guess the Apostle Thomas as that is the most likely origin of the surname of the Thomas's from whom I'm descended. His full name is "Colter Judson Thomas", the first two also being family names.

Dear Thomas, Congratulations and blessings! My own little Anna's birthday was October 6 (of last year). Sorry I wasn't around here sooner to congratulate you, but I have been over at Christian Forums wasting my time arguing with the Protestants. Anyway, I hope you will soon be having that boy baptized in the Holy Orthodox Church.
