Ku swojemu wielkiemu zdziwieniu przekonałem się, że na tym forum jest kilka osób znających polski. Co więcej są to osoby o polskich korzeniach, a nie Polacy z kraju (poza mną i jeszcze jednym użytkownikiem).
Zastanawiałem się, jak oceniacie tą stronę, do której linka mam w profilu. Czy traktujecie ją jako wiarygodne i rzetelne źródło informacji o Prawosławiu w Polsce? Ktoś z Was tam w ogóle zagląda? Co byście tam zmienili? Co byście chcieli tam jeszcze zobaczyć? Nie mówię o wersji angielskiej, bo jej prawie w ogóle nie ma. Ktoś byłby zainteresowany ją rozwijać?
Może ktoś z Was chciałby pomóc w jej współtworzeniu. Kilkanaście osób robi to całkowicie wolontaryjnie, nie bierze za to żadnej zapłaty. Pozostaje nam jedynie czysta satysfakcja. Jako osoby mieszkające na drogim końcu świata wiecie, co interesowałoby zagranicznego odbiorcę. Na przykład tłumaczenie newsów, czy może przetłumaczenie bazy parafii, jakieś artykuły historyczne...

Mike, unfortunately, I cannot speak or write in Polish. I know the rules of reading and I can understand pretty much any text written in Polish; I can also understand the oral Polish speech of the speaking person speaks VERY SLOWLY and directly to me; but I cannot understand a fluent Polish speech, like when someone speaks on the Polish radio, or when two Poles speak between themselves.
In this regard, my wife's mother who grew up in Volyn' (Northwestern Ukraine) in the 1930-s, when it was part of Poland, understands any Polish speech, no matter how fluent or fast; but she has the same problem with Russian that her daughter and I have with Polish (i.e., my mother-in-law can understand pretty much any written Russian text and she can undestand a Russian speech when the words in Russian are spoken very slowly and directly to her, but she is lost when she listens to the Russian radio or watches a program on the Russian TV).
In this case, I think I understood everything you wrote in your message. Your Web site is excellent, very informative and beautifully made, and user-friendly.

Hey, waht about all of us here in Canada? Any Canadian guests? Our priest is a Lemko from Poland and I think we have a total of 9 priests in the Ukrainian orthodox Church of Canada who were formerly priests in the Polish Orthodox Church. They came here in the 1980's. |

Mimo że ja nie prawosławny to w wielką przyjemnością śledzę prawosławne strony w polskim necie.
