Do Old Believers have monastics? Why or why not?

Why do posters that claim to have me blocked keep sending me pms and responding to my posts? That makes no sense.

Thanks, Mike! I had never heard of an Old Believer monastery, and wondered about that. So, you even have them in Poland? I didn't know that!

There are 4 parishes each contain about 500 believers. They are descendants of XVIIth/XVIIIth century refugees who came to Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth because of persecutions in Russia. They settled in Masuria in XIXth century. I slightly misguided you because we used to have a monastery. The last nun died in 2006.
