You were dreaming about doing something special for Me and, instead of doing it, you fell into this thread. This was from Me.

I think the same could be said of many other crosses men have to bear in this life.  I don't know any reason why 'homosexuality' should be any different.
The cross of fallen heterosexuality seems pretty chill by comparison tbh.

How would you describe Song of Songs, and its relationship to marriage?

Dude, it's poetry.  If it were normative, there'd be a part about cooking dinner or feeding the goats.

Mike, can you provide an English translation of this document in conformity to the forum rules? Also is this fair use? Is there a political ad hominem perhaps in the article that we need to watch out for? Is this really Christian News? You don't know how hard the mods have it Mike.

The only abnormality is that people believe children from cousin marriage will be abnormal. Multifactoral genetic diseases among children of non-cousin marriage ranges between 2-3%. Genetic diseases among children of non-cousin marriage range between 4-7%. That means 93% of children from cousin marriages will be genetically free of dangerous diseases.

What does genetic abnormality really mean? The most common diseases considered severe abnormalities are: low birth weight or still births, congenital heart defects, cerebral palsy, sickle cell, cleft lip/palate, toxoplasmosis, fetal x syndrome, cystic fibrosis, spina bifida, and the most famous, Down syndrome. None of these diseases are known to have an increase prevalence among cousin marriages due to genetic consanguinity. (Source)

On the other hand, children who were born of (non-cousin) fathers over 50 - 42% chance of mental health disorder. Children whose father is 11 years older than the mother - 24%. Children of women over 40 - 6%. 1 in 100 children born from women over 40 have Down Syndrome. I don't know what that means for percentages but it is 100 more likely to have a child with Down syndrome when the mother is over 40 compared to a mother in her 20s. The likelihood of a child born with Down syndrome from parents who have Down syndrome - 50%

You will be hard pressed to find a geneticist who recommends any additional genetic testing for cousins over non-cousin couples. Yet, you will find ignorant doctors recommending and performing infertility surgeries for children of cousin marriages and an increase recommendation for abortions for children of cousin marriages. 24 states outlaw cousin marriage based on a supposed high risk of physical and mental defects. 5 states make it a criminal offense. Yet not a single state outlaws the marriage of Down syndrome parents, fathers over 50, mothers over 40 or stupid doctors. That is what is truly abnormal.

I myself enjoy debating with atheists, as most of them are conceited morons who greatly overestimate their knowledge and intelligence, and crushing them strokes my not inconsiderable ego.  I myself am a conceited moron, admittedly, but if I can defeat other conceited morons, it at least suggests that I am less moronic, if perhaps more conceited, than they are, and it is thus not an unenjoyable experience.

However, the most clever of the community time their arrival to coincide with formation of the communion line.

One of the Orthodox Priests I've been closest to would say, when he hears people talking about Spiritual Fathers, he begins counting the days till they leave.

it's kind of like this , the owner of the band who put the members together from the beginning left the lead singer in charge, then later on the other members decided hey you are not a real leader, you're just first among equals..they reject the owner of the band by doing this

You forgot the part about how the singer wanted to change from traditional folk to deathcore music.

Pentecostalism anywhere is as easily discernible from Orthodoxy as Islam is.

The church apologized for the deception on Thursday and restored the original photo to the site, but not before Patriarch Kirill weighed in, insisting in an interview with a Russian journalist that he had never worn the watch, and that any photos showing him wearing it must have been doctored to put the watch on his wrist.

Whoever failed to Photoshop out the reflection in the table must be in seriously bad odor with His Holiness now.

(not even sure what that means)

In that may lie your problem.
no problem here, I have the true faith..feel free to give your version of what first among equals actually means
So, who sits in the chair of St. Peter in your mind these days?

Not sure if "in your mind" was put where it is on purpose, but I'm just going to assume it was, and I like it.
