Mor Ephrem is a nice guy. Just say sorry and it will all be ok. Say I had things that were inside troubling me but I didn't know how to express appropriately. I will not behave that way again but I am seeking help.

It's common knowledge that you secretly want to be born in early 17th century Russia. As a serf or a royal, I know not. Chances are serf.

Your mummy's face so old and large, Evangelists could write the Gospel on it.
It's certainly not your place to tell them who does and who doesn't lead them in their dance towards Christ, looking upwards into His glorious face.
You, they, and the folks in the OP are free to keep playing church with whatever traditions you like cherry-picked from wherever you want to pick them. Have a blast. Have a big multicultural multi-tradition cake walk in blackface through the middle of the Blue Mosque if you want. I'm not trying to stop you. I can't.

...you can imagine so-called healing services of the pigpen. The books that could be written, you know: Life in the Pigpen. How to Cope in the Pigpen. Being Happy in the Pigpen. Surviving in the Pigpen. And then there could be counselling, for people who feel unhappy in the pigpen, to try to get them to come to terms with the pigpen, and to accept the pigpen.

Quote from: xOrthodox4Christx on February 07, 2015, 06:09:00 PMQuote from: mikeforjesus on February 07, 2015, 07:17:07 AMActually I don't think Christians should fight back at all going to war is not a ticket to heaven I agree entirely. If they cannot win against ISIS, which is clear, they shouldn't fight. You don't fight a war you cannot win. They've said they aren't currently planning to engage in any offensive campaigns; at this point it's purely a self-defense militia whose purpose is to prevent ISIS from gobbling up any more Assyrian territory than it already has. That's a limited war, not a total one, and it's one they can win if they get enough support. Their purpose is to defend and secure just the Nineveh Plains region, not to defeat ISIS completely. If they do engage in any offensive attacks, it'll only be in coordination with the Kurds, the Iraqi Military, the US Air Force, etc.Lots of Americans donated huge sums of money to the Israelis during the 1948 war, including some devout Christians. Charles Winters went so far as to actually smuggle warplanes to them. And the Israelis were facing an enemy that wasn't anywhere near as fanatical as ISIS now is.How come there's so much resistance from professed Christians to the idea of an Assyrian militia, or of a independent state or province for Christian Assyrians? Why do so many Christians think it's okay for the Israeli Jews to have a state and their own self-defense forces, but not for the Christians in the region to have one? That's a practically suicidal attitude. We support other religions' right to self-defense and self-determination, but not our own. Again, that's practically suicidal. We sit on our hands as our brothers and sisters in the Middle East get slaughtered. Yet, if some atheist gives us a dirty look for praying in public, or if some baker takes flak for refusing to bake a gay wedding cake, that's when we cry "persecution!" Lord have mercy on us.Legal experts have already shown that donating to the NPU is legal (since it's not a terrorist organization) and that you won't get in trouble with the government if you donate to them, so that's not an excuse either.

I'm with the camp of 13 million Americans that believe politicians are, or are controlled by, Reptilians. I think only monks can solve this problem. It doesn't seem right that they prefer to ignore it.
