Greek
« on: September 25, 2003, 09:48:32 PM »
Could anybody who is knowledgeable about this technology bussiness explain to me how to get and use a Greek font on the internet forums like this please?  I can do it on MS Word and AIM but no idea how it works here.  Many Thanks....

Also is there enough interest to have a Greek board to compliment (and far exceed  :P ) the Spanish and Russian board here?

anyone who has windows 2000 or greater can automatically type in Polytonic Greek.  I suppose I can tell you how to do it later when I am not on the run but in 2000 it is in "Keyboard" in the COntrol panel and in XP it is in "Regional and Language Settings" and all you have to do is click add and a list of languages comes up; you need to click Greek for language and Greek Polytonic for Keyboard so you can get the koine Greek accents that Modern Greek kicked out.
