Please Pray for My Dad
« on: September 17, 2003, 10:17:56 PM »
Please pray for the salvation of my father.

I sent him a copy of Anthony Coniaris' book, Introducing the Orthodox Church, and he has said he will "look it over".

My Dad is a nominal Protestant. He believes in God and, in a recent phone conversation, told me he prays every day.

Please, brothers and sisters, pray for my Dad and my Mom, too. I love them both almost more than I can say. They have always been good to me and were and are the best parents anybody could ever have (that I will repeat before the Lord at the Judgment).

I will be grateful to you all forever.

An old timer is a man who's had a lot of interesting experiences -- some of them true.

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.

As will I.

My prayers that God will open your parent's hearts to seek the fullness of communion of the Holy Trinity, revealed and lived in the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.

Your father’s commitment to “look it over” is very good news Linus. Once again I am in admiration of your persistence and dedication in spreading the Orthodox faith. You parents are in my prayers.
