For those who know Greek, can you define the word εσχε for me?  It's used a lot in post biblical writings but I can't get a handle on its proper usage.

Roughly, it is the third person form of the simple past tense of the verb "to have" (possess, own etc), but the page above gives much more details. I hope this is correct.
