I posted in the prayer forum about the death of my wife's grandmother today.  What is kind of odd is the timing.  Consider:

December 5, 2001 My maternal Grandfather died.
December 4, 2007 My paternal Grandfather died.
December 3, 2008 My wife's maternal Grandmother died.

I just found it kind of interesting if nothing else.  Anyone else have anything like this in your family?  Just wondering. Shocked  Huh Enquiring minds want to know--also, do you suppose I need to be cautious of December 2 next year? Huh

Also intersting, my grandmother's sister died on my grandmother's birthday, then my grandmother died on her sister's birthday.  Nothing like a good death anecdote to start the day Cheesy

My grandmother (mother's side) died on the same day (tho many years apart) that my grandfather (her husband) died.

My maternal grandfather died on his birthday, IIRC.  Memory eternal for all who have passed!

Many of our wonderful/strange dates have coincided: my maternal uncle and I share a birthday, and my dad's youngest sister's is the day after; my sister's birthday was the day that her godfather died, and my one cousin's birthday became the day my maternal grandfather died; there are more, but I don't wish to bore y'all anymore than I already have.

Fwiw, St. Justin Popovich also died on his birthday-- a strange coincidence, but I don't think it's more than that. Smiley

My Mother and Father died a year and a day apart, which is wonderful because we can commemorate them every year together in the same Memorial Service.

My father, his granddaughter Tiffany and her little girl (his great-granddaughter) all share the same birthday. . . along with my best friend EofK. No way I'm ever going to forget her birthday. Wink

Did the early church celebrate the death date ,,as a birth date born into eternity instead of the earthly birth date..curious about it....SmileyCentral.com" border="0

On a happier note (I hope):
My son was born June 8.
I was born on January 8.
My father born August 8.
His father born October 8.

First, my prayers for you and your family on your recent loss.

Second, I'd be playing those numbers for a while.

My paternal grandfather (I'm named after him btw) died on my 9th birthday. My maternal grandfather died on Christmas eve of 2001.
