I posted in the prayer forum about the death of my wife's grandmother today. What is kind of odd is the timing. Consider: December 5, 2001 My maternal Grandfather died. December 4, 2007 My paternal Grandfather died. December 3, 2008 My wife's maternal Grandmother died. I just found it kind of interesting if nothing else. Anyone else have anything like this in your family? Just wondering.   Enquiring minds want to know--also, do you suppose I need to be cautious of December 2 next year? |

Also intersting, my grandmother's sister died on my grandmother's birthday, then my grandmother died on her sister's birthday. Nothing like a good death anecdote to start the day  |

My grandmother (mother's side) died on the same day (tho many years apart) that my grandfather (her husband) died.

Many of our wonderful/strange dates have coincided: my maternal uncle and I share a birthday, and my dad's youngest sister's is the day after; my sister's birthday was the day that her godfather died, and my one cousin's birthday became the day my maternal grandfather died; there are more, but I don't wish to bore y'all anymore than I already have.

My Mother and Father died a year and a day apart, which is wonderful because we can commemorate them every year together in the same Memorial Service.

My father, his granddaughter Tiffany and her little girl (his great-granddaughter) all share the same birthday. . . along with my best friend EofK. No way I'm ever going to forget her birthday.  |

My paternal grandfather (I'm named after him btw) died on my 9th birthday. My maternal grandfather died on Christmas eve of 2001.
