I've heard of something similar to this, maybe written by Arthur Miller? I forget....

There was a C.S. Lewis book entitled God in the Dock (essentially, God on trial in British English).  Maybe that's what you were thinking of?

I haven't seen the play,but I know about lawsuits against God in real life. These lawsuits were dismissed.

I've seen the movie, yes (because you told me about it, lol). Good movie, IMO.
