Beginning on September 20th, 2003, OrthodoxChristianity.net will be implementing Instant Message quotas on your IM box.  Each user will be able to have 20 messages at a time stored in it.

I will be wiping the contents of the instant message table on the 21st, meaning if there are any instant messages you wish/need to keep, you best back them up asap.

Translation: he is ditching the messages stored in our im boxes because there is an error in the computer that is making our database size explode.  So save them. Easiest way is to save as an html file (web page complete option).  Then you have them all on one page. That's what I do.

Is it just the inbox that will be scrubbed?  If I put a few in my "backupbox" will they be safe from elimination?  I want to get things straightened up in then next couple of days in case I can't get on for a few.

I am not sure what we are going to do.  We might just set a stricter limit on the inbox and not scrub it.  More info forthecoming.
