Memory Eternal to the fallen.
Lord, stop all wars and illumine our hearts so that we all know better than plan wars or approve war as means of politics.
I also have a special prayer for the fallen fighters of the underground guerilla Ukrainian Insurgent Army of the 1940-s and 50-s. They were the biggest guerilla movement in the history of humankind, and they bravely fought both the Nazi and the Soviet regime. Their mere memory was then desecrated, mocked, dragged through the mud by the KGB and the Soviet propaganda machine, which, through forgery and lies, portrayed them as sadistic Nazi collaborators. It's only now that the whole picture of who they really were emerges in the collective mentality of my Ukrainian people. Memory Eternal, and Glory to the Heroes.
