I just picked one of these up for my kids to use this year. We bought "Making God Real in the Orthodox Christian Home" last year and used their Nativity cycle activites. I wanted to make a Jesse Tree this year. But I think that would be too much of an undertaking right now, maybe next year. But the calender looks really cool!

What a fantastic idea.

Still, I would not trade it for the LEGO Castle advent calendar I have gotten for me... ehm, for my son.

Do you plan on reading about the saint for your kids each day? This is really a great idea.

Teh Lego one looks nifty! But I doubt it is for 41 days! ;) I'll have to make sure my kids don't see it!
