Not sure, does that warrant a thanksgiving prayer?
« on: October 31, 2008, 04:05:03 PM »
My wife just called me and said that we won a $500 gift certificate to use in the Kroger grocery store.

The reason we won it (other than just luck, of course) is that we always use Kroger as the place to wire money to our relatives in Ukraine by Western Union. As frequent users of their Western Union station, Kroger made us participants in their lottery, and we won.

I never won any lotteries before in my whole life. :)

Anyway, glory to God for all things! :)

^^Why wouldn't you thank the Lord for this?  I would praise his Name and maybe donate some of the food to a food pantry for those less fortunate.   Just a thought. :-\

In our house this sort of thing has happened before (recently). Our parish of course got most of it (now I wonder why we did not give it all).

Surely, prayers. Why not?

Give thanks to the Lord for the Lord is Good and the Lord takes care of His flock.
Amen!
