Editing a post time reduced
« on: October 31, 2008, 11:12:26 AM »
Dear Board Members,

Due to abuses, the time you have to edit a post has been dropped from 10 hours to 30 min.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but it was necessary.

In Christ,

Fr Anastasios

What kind of abuses?
The sins I don't commit are largely due to the weakness of my limbs.

^ Circumventing a warning not to make multiple posts in blog format and not engaging in discussion by simply continually adding to the same post.
If you're living a happy life as a Christian, you're doing something wrong.

Why was it ever 10 hours to begin with other than a default value with the software?

Default value, and also we used to like giving people lots of time to come back and change their post in case they said something outrageous and regretted it.
