As you all know, I once lived a life of homosexuality. Thanks be to God he has given me the strength to give up that life style. However, my ex boyfriend has recently been contacting me and it is become a source of pain. I know that if I am going to continue living God's will that I cannot go back to this life style. Please pray that I do the right thing and avoid my ex who is a source of tempation because I do feel a strong pull towards him.

Some (prayerfully, hopefully) helpful advice- Satan is using this other person to ensnare you and bring you down. Be very assertive and stern towards this other person. Elder Paisios from the Holy Mtn once slapped a man as hard as he could because Paisios recognized that it was really Satan using this man to attack him. Please don't resort to violence, but understand the seriousness of this situation.

Well. I spoke to my ex and told him that he can't keep coming back into my life. One of the most painful things that I have done in a while. It ripped my heart out. I have to be honest. There is a part of me that is angry at God for the whole thing. Thank you for your prayers.

There is a part of me that is angry at God for the whole thing. Tell Him. God is big-shouldered enough to take it. The Psalmist is often angry with God: "How long o Lord wilt Thou be wroth to the end? Shall Thy jealousy be kindled like fire?" Then read His answer. You will find it in the Book of Job beginning with the 38th chapter to the end of the 42nd chapter. |

Well just an update. Because I pretty much had to push my ex out of my life I couldn't sleep at all last night. I am pretty a much a broken hearted disaster and feel like I can't even speak to our Lord now. I am NOT gonna continue these updates because I realize that the prayer forum is not all about me. But please just continue to keep me in your prayers because I am pretty much devestated.

Thank you all very much for your prayers. I know that the right decision was made and the Lord is providing me great comfort and healing. In fact, doors in my life are already beginning to open because of this decision and the amazing thing is that I am not depressed but Joyful now. Its amazing how God works in our lives.
