Dear Friends,
I received the terrible news that a lovely, now 20 year old Ukrainian Baptist boy by the name of Andrei, was tragically killed on Friday morning at 3am on a Ukrainian highway near Novograd-Volinskiy as a drunk driver smashed into the car he was driving. It took four hours to extricate Andrei's body from the vehicle in which his body was trapped. I have known Andrei as a quiet, gentle, godly youngster, the firstborn of a large, very pious Baptist family, during my years in Kyiv.
A crowd of over 500 people- family, church people, and friends gathered outside their apartment building for the first part of the funeral. As Andrei's earthly remains were committed to God, three separate rainbows appeared overhead, which provided a source of comfort for the grieving family.
Please remember Andrei's family as they cope with their loss and grief. His mother especially is suffering terribly from the shock.
Many thanks!

Memory Eternal.
I also pray that the Lord and His holy angels help and guide Ukrainian lawmakers so that they could come up with better laws that enforce safe driving.

May Andrei rest in Peace and may God give comfort to his grieving family and friends. So young and another victim of a drunken driver.
