Hey everyone, My gf and I are traveling way up to the U of IL in Champaign/Urbana. I humbly ask for your prayers that: we'll have a safe, enjoyable trip and for my gf to do well during her interview. Thank you all very much! In Christ, Gabriel

Hey all, thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers. We're back home now safe and sound, but here's a story I'd like to share with you. My company has a corporate membership with Enterprise car rentals so we rented an SUV for our trip. As an early Christmas present, I also bought my gf a GPS (greatest investment EVER BTW! ). Halfway to St. Louis (we're on our way to northern IL), we realize that the charger light isn't on; the fuse has blown. Which means the GPS battery will soon go dead. So we pull into a Wal-Mart in some little town and purchase a home outlet charger. I thought we'd eat a a restaurant and plug it in to fully charge. In the meantime, I pulled out some Mapquest maps I'd printed earlier and consulted our atlas (why, yes, I was a boyscout ). The folks at Applebee's were kind enough to let us charge our GPS, but it turns out an hour charge was insufficient for a new system (my gf very humbly informed me that she knew that all along ). So now we're relying on our Mapquest map/atlas. Well, folks...we got lost somewhere in St. Louis (Hey, I didn't say I was a good boyscout!). But here's where our gaurdian angels stepped in a guided us. Traffic was heavy, and there were no Interstate signs anywhere BUT, we drove right past an Enterprise branch! They fixed the SUV's blown fuse, our GPS started right up and we made it safe and sound. I really and truly believe that your prayers and St. Gabriel and St. Cristina really guided us! Glory to God! Thanks for letting me share this with y'all and BTW- Mapquest SUCKS BIGTIME!

Glad that you back home safe. Glory to God! Mapquest SUCKS BIGTIME! Yes, once, several years ago, because of Mapquest, I got stuck in one of the most dangerous sections of New York City at night. where our gaurdian angels stepped in a guided us. Same here. I got out without any problem at all.
