Dear folks,
May I ask that you pray for those people in the former Soviet republic of Kyrgyzia who are experiencing some natural disaster. I just heard about it on the radio, and I am not even sure what it was - an earthquake or something else, but I clearly heard that it was in Kyrgyzia and that there are human victims.
Our own Nektarios is there, in Bishkek (Kyrgyzia), let's pray for him also.

Excellence of character, then, is a state concerned with choice, lying in a mean relative to us, this being determined by reason and in the way in which the man of practical wisdom would determine it. Now it is a mean between two vices, that which depends on excess and that which depends on defect.

Lord have mecy on those who have fallen asleep and those who are alive. Help the worker, and bless the victims, guide the authorities and medical personel.

Lord, have mercy.
However, Nektarios is fine. He writes that they didn't feel anything where he is in Bishkek.
