Many years! I've learned so very much through this forum, so I'm grateful for its existence. May it continue to prosper, and may we all strive to devote our lives increasingly to the One Who is the reason behind it all.

Some interesting facts:
- The average daily posting rate over the last 10+ months (since the CAF surge) has been just over 236 posts/day, which is nearly 6 times the posting volume of OC.net's first month (Oct 2002).
- By the end of the first 3 months, OC.net had 147 registered users. As of now, it's had over 2,700 people register (nearly 20 times the total at the end of the first 3 months).
- OC.net has enjoyed nearly double the number of posts as other similarly-marketed (Orthodox and Byzantine Catholic) websites since August 2007.
And an observation:
- Despite some claims to the otherwise, and thankfully despite some of our "growing pains," the site still manages to have quite the diverse crowd within its posting ranks; with New Cal EO's, Old Cal EO's, Old Calendarist EO's, OO's, EC's, RC's, and various Protestant groups represented (and somehow managing - most of the time - to debate and disagree without being completely rude).

Wow, how things have changed over those 6 years. Robert was in Rome and planned to be in Europe (at seminary if I remember correctly) for quite a while, Father Anastasios was a uniate Byzantine Rite Roman Catholic student, Phil was at SUNY, and I was at the end of my catechumenate in ROCOR. Since then, all of us original 4 administrators of OC.net had became clergy (save for Robert) and half of us original 4 of us have married and half of us have resigned the site as administrators too. What a storied 6 years it has been!
