Hello all, I would ask you all, especially the Clergy, if you could pray for my mother-in-law, Soila Roel, she's going in for a dangerous surgery tomarrow at 2pm Texas time, and te operation is for blockage in her main arteory in her neck. I'm not Orthodox, but I understand tht Saints in heaven pray for us to, so is it possible to ask thdem?

Let more knowledgeable people correct me if I am wrong, but it is my understanding that we Orthodox do pray for non-Orthodox, that's quite normal. If there are some limitations, they are only regarding a "corporate" church worship (for example, I cannot ask my priest to serve a "moleben" or a "panykhyda" for someone who was not baptized - but I can, and should, pray for that person myself, and my priest can pray for that person as well, individually).

Helloo all, just got back from the hospital, it's 4:47 Texas time, p.m., and she's dong fine, her operation went very well,and she's probably coming hoe on saturday. Thankyu all for your prayers!
