Quote
Paul Newman, the Academy-Award winning superstar who personified cool as the anti-hero of such films as "Hud," "Cool Hand Luke" and "The Color of Money"—and as an activist, race car driver and popcorn impresario—has died. He was 83.

Memory eternal.

Memory eternal!

Quite an example of marriage in the midst of the cess pool of Hollywood.  Married for 50 years, he obviously had opportunity to stray with all the talk of his blue eyes. His response "why should I go out for hamburger when I have steak at home?"

A great actor and icon of American cinema.  His like are gone forever from our movie screens.

Lord have mercy upon him, forgive his every transgression and bring him to a place of repose and verdure where the light of Thy countenance is unceasing.

I'll never forget the operation - The Sting - against Lonnergan in that film. That was simply a hilarious scene when Redford gets up after being "shot".

Memory eternal to Paul Newman - one of the true acting greats - who also did much good for many people through his salad dressings and other products.
